Philip Rich, Partner of the Price Wine Store

Philip Rich is a full time Wine Buyer and partner in the Price Wine Store. Prior to working with the Prince Wine Store Philip was the Imported Wine Manager for Philip Murphy Wine and Spirits for two years, before becoming the Wine Operations Manager for the Stokehouse and Prince of Wales in Melbourne where he oversaw all things vinous. This involved all wine buying, sommelier and wine training for staff and the wine lists, including Circa the Prince's award winning wine list of over 1100 wines.

Philip writes a monthly wine column for the Australian Financial Review magazine, is a regular contributor to Australian Gourmet Traveller Wine and finds time for wine judging around Australia at shows including The Royal Sydney, Margaret River, Yarra Valley and Adelaide Wine shows. Philip is a passionate lover of the wines of Burgundy and France.

Philip is a panellist at the ‘Independent retail’ business session.
